I'll never forget that night.

Standing in the freezing cold, trying to get cell phone reception. Love on the other end of the line. Freezing just to hear that voice, even if only for a moment.

Exchanging words I'll never forget. The three words to make a man of me, are now the three that destroy me. Causing me to hope, only to wince at the pain of failure. Time, and time again.

Resounding in my head, night after night. Waking up, only to feel the warmth of your body fade, and your scent dissapate.

Realizing I'm awake, and without you for another day. Damned to loving you until I'm gone.

Everything is hand done. I used an effect on the background, and some out-sourced brushes on the top layer to help things meld as they should. The brushes I used for that subtle top layer are found here, and credit for those brushes is given to their respective artist at [link]

Very cool work. I love the deep blue crumpled background. The heart and scroll are both very well done. Great work

It looks pretty good, but the red is like super bright! Maybe if you could have used a darker shade of red, the image would look great, but it's just so vivid. The back round colors look wonderful though. Also, maybe the heart should be centered. . . I don't no, something just seems off.
