What Binds You? Full Viewby ~zerodeficit

Traditional Art / Paintings / Abstract

This piece consistis of 5 panels. The center panel is 18x24, and each of the 4 accent panels is 8x10.

It took more than 30 hours to complete, and is done in acrylic on canvas panel

The center panel is a lock with chains. This symbolized being bound.

The 4 accent panels feature keys: Love, Money, Fame, and Power

I feel these are things that people associate with success. Though many of us work tirelessly in an effort to succeed and live these qualities, we miss the smaller things in life.

We search so hard for these things, that we often miss the actual opportunity to have them.

Patience. I've always loved tattoos, so I Slowly sketched out some "tattoo" letters onto the canvas and then painted the outline, and did my best to paint a gradient.
